This site collects nothing about the people who read it. That is a short statement, so the rest of this page is the part that matters: what it rests on, and how you can check it yourself rather than take it on trust.

No cookies

No cookie is set by any page here, for any purpose — not for preferences, not for sessions, not for measurement. Nothing is written to localStorage or sessionStorage either. Open the storage panel of your browser's developer tools on any page of this site and it will be empty.

No analytics and no tracking

There is no analytics package on this site of any kind — no measurement script, no tag manager, no tracking pixel, no heat-mapping and no session recording. The only scripts on a page are a few lines written inline in the page itself, which move the back-to-top control, the scroll rail, the page-position mark and the menu toggle. None of them sends anything anywhere. Naming particular products is deliberately avoided here: such a list dates quickly and says less than the plain statement that nothing measures you.

No third-party requests

Every asset a page loads comes from this domain. Fonts are served from here rather than from a font service, images from here, stylesheets from here. There is no content delivery network in front of any of it and no embedded widget, player or comment system. Open the network panel of your developer tools and every request will be to this domain and no other. That matters more than the absence of cookies: a request to a third party discloses your address and your page to that third party whether or not a cookie is involved.

No forms

Nothing on this site asks you to type anything. There is no contact form, no search box, no newsletter sign-up, no comment field and no account. The contact page gives an email address and nothing else, so correspondence reaches an inbox in the ordinary way rather than through a form handler.

What the server necessarily sees

A web server cannot serve a page without receiving a request, and a request carries the address it came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. That is true of every site on the web and it is true of this one. What is done with those records is a matter for the hosting arrangement rather than for this site's code, and nothing in the pages themselves adds to, enriches or forwards them.

Register entries name the publishers that hold the original documents, and some pages link to them and to other external sites. Those sites have their own practices, which are theirs and not covered by anything on this page. Following a link takes you out of this site's control, and nothing here is passed along when you do.
