Genie Component
Genie Web Server Requirements
Genie and WebPublisher PRO must be installed on the same server. Please see the WebPublisher PRO server requirements later in this document.
Genie v3.4 is supported for use with WebPublisher PRO v13, v12, or v11.
If WebPublisher PRO v13 is installed before Genie, the Service Pack for Genie (v3.4 SP1) is required.
WebPublisher PRO v11 is not recommended because it is not supported on 64-bit servers or Windows Server 2008 (32-bit).

Notes
The Run-time software is a standalone, search only version of DB/TextWorks that allows outside users to search a textbase.
The Run-time software is not intended for network use. It may be installed on a single machine, not a server.
Each copy of the Run-time software requires exclusive access to a single textbase and permits only one instance of the software to run at a time.

Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 SP2 (will be installed if not already present)
ISAPI (recommended) or CGI
Do not install WebPublisher PRO on a server hosting SharePoint.

• ISAPI is required for editing records. If you use CGI, the CGI extension must be installed,
and editing is not supported.
