Company Profile
Company
LRC Credit Bureau is an institution that follows the credit history of legal and physical entities and
monitors debt liabilities, paying trends, and also provides banks, micro-credit organizations,
insurance companies and other legal and physical entities with relevant information in the form of
credit reports.
History
LRC Credit Bureau in BiH was established in 2000, and since then it has been operating on the
principles and good practice of modern credit reporting agencies in developed countries. The
establishment, development, and expansion of LRC was achieved with the establishment of smooth
information flows, promotional activities on financial discipline, capacity building and training of
the staff of the Central Bank, FBiH and RS Banking Agencies, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice,
judiciary sector and other relevant state institutions, as well as the staff of commercial banks,
micro-credit organizations, insurance companies, pension funds, donor organizations, public utilities
companies and other BiH institutions and legal entities.
Already by 2002, the number of LRC members had increased drastically, with a composition of
clients varying from legal entities to foreign and domestic financial institutions and donor
organizations. Since 2003 the increase in membership and services provided has had a tendency of
exponential growth.
WHAT LRC CREDIT BUREAU ENABLES TO ITS MEMBERS?
- access in the data base of the LRC Credit Bureau
- access in the payment goings of the clients/partners
- access in the responsibilities of the clients/partners
- improvement of the payment of the debtors demands
- acceleration of making business decisions
- reducing the risks in the managing
- access in the list of the transaction accounts of the legal entities of Bosnia and
Herzegovina
HOW YOU CAN IMPROVE PAYMENT OF YOUR DEMANDS?
Inasmuch you are occupied with the sale of goods or the service with the postponed
payment, the basic word is prevention. By the checking of the credit report of the
potential customer, you can avoid the work with the fictive firms, clients who are
already heavily in debts or has the habit of the irregular realization of their financial
obligations.
Assure that your customer regularly settle their arrived obligations by the stipulation in
buying and selling Contract or on your invoice: “Every your delay in the payment of
arrived obligations over 30 days will be registered in the data base of the LRC Credit
Bureau”.
Irreconcilable debts of the legal or physical entities towards you, and registered in the
LRC data base, will be shown on the credit report of that person and will present the
difficulty during the application for the credit, purchasing the goods on the postponed
payment and basically in their further business, until they settle those debts.
If you cannot collect the payment for your demands by the regular way, or the
launching of the charges, you are not completely sure that the forced payment will be
made if you do not know which transaction accounts of that entity are operative.
Check your credit report of all transaction accounts of that entity.

Products
Credit report
The information that is collected and processed is issued in a form of credit report by LRC credit
bureau. A credit report contains data on all registered debts-type amount of credit, paymant habits,
late or on-time payments, and also overall payment habits based on monthly debts owed.
Monitoring
Monitoring is a new service that is activated on the request of financial institutions. This allows
LRC’s clients to follow any changes in the credit history of legal entities during the specific period
requested. Each and every time a change is registered in the database, an automatic message is
sent to the institution that has requested the monitoring of its client, informing them of a change in
the credit history status of the entity being monitored.
Central Bank – Register of Transaction Accounts
The Central Bank of BiH has developed a register of accounts of all businesses in BiH. LRC and CBBH
have established cooperation in information exchange between the LRC database and the register.
The database is updated with information from the CBBH register every day. LRC now adds this
useful and relevant information in all credit reports to clients.
This improves the ability to identify fictitious companies , ease the process of execution of
collecting outstanding claims, and support the fight against money laundering.
Annual Financial Statements
LRC and the Agency for Financial, IT and Mediation Services (APIF, AFIP and FIP) in Banja Luka,
Mostar, and Sarajevo are working on a joint project for allowing access, use, and transfer of
accounting statements for annual and half-yearly business success of legal entities throughout BiH
for APIF, AFIP, and FIP, based on the request for information in the form of individual statements of
LRC clients.
Bulletin of Blocked Accounts
LRC Credit Bureau launched the Bulletin of Blocked Accounts for legal and physical entities in
September 2002. This was to unite and sort this information alphabetically and to facilitate the
work for all who want to reduce their business risk to a minimum.
The Industry Sector Performance Standards
The Industry Sector Performance Standards (ISPS) was developed as a tool to be used in
assessing a company’s performance, as reflected in its financial statements, by comparing its
performance to an “average” for the industry. Each page represents a different industry sector.
